Westlife In Australia!

This news just in....Westlife have entered the Australian charts at number 29! This is fantastic - so thanks to all the fans for getting them there... Not long until they'll be as big down under as they are up here!!

As you all probably know by now, Westlife picked up "Bet Pop Act" on Monday night's Brit Awards, after performing an amazing rendition of "Uptown Girl". The guys celebrated by partying the night away...Congrats boys!

Westlife could be live in your living room on Saturday 31st March at 7pm.

Live music returns to Sky Box Office. And Westlife will be the first to appear. This is Westlife's first ever tour, and will probably be one of largest ever. Broadcasting live from the Point in Dublin, on Saturday 31st March, Sky are treating you to a LIVE spectacular show of the boys.
 
  Westlife are also the only band in history to have six consecutive number ones and you have the chance through Sky Box Office to see all these songs performed LIVE!
 
  Sky digital customers can preview the concert on channel 770 and order simply by using the remote control from 29 March or by calling 07805 800 888 from 10 March. Cable customers call your local operator. Please note that this costs £9.99, so ask permission from the person who pays the bill before you order the show.
 
  Remember if your not going to a show, then this could be the perfect way to sample Westlife live in the comfort of your own home. And if you've already seen a concert, you can reminisce, or if you haven't yet you could check out how good the guys really are!

Westlife in Kilts!

Diesmal nur die kurze Information, dass der Auftritt von Westlife für "TV Total" (Pro 7)in der morgigen (22.2.) Sendung ausgestrahlt wird. Dieser Auftritt war letzten Donnerstag in Köln aufgezeichnet worden. Westlife singen live zur Studio-Band ihren aktuellen Titel "I Lay My Love On You". Stefan Raab hatte sich nach den Proben ausgedacht, dass er gerne einen VersdesTitels selbst singen wollte, doch so ad hoc ohne Proben wollten Westlife dies nicht so gerne und boten ihrerseits an, nach diesem Titel noch einen gemeinsamen kurzen Acapella-Titel mit Stefan Raab zu singen, doch dies wollte er hingegen nicht....

Not Really News

No real news for you all at the moment, guys, except that Westlife's tour has kicked off! It kicked off on Monday night in Newcastle, and if you want to see the full tour dates click here. I'm going on the 16th so I will hopefully have a report up next weekend sometime!

Westlife's Uptown Girl & European Single

  

Westlife's next British Single will be "Uptown Girl", which will be realeased in aid of Comic Relief. The single, a cover of the Billy Joel classic, is released on March 5th and the guys will sing it at the Brits.

The video can currently be seen on the BOX, number 100, and will be shown on TOTP+ tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Europe are treated to the single "I Lay My Love On You", currently avaialbe in Belgium. The single will be realeased in Holland on February 16th, but I'm not sure when in other countries.
